WE'VE CALLED IT PINKY PLACE |
|
We have a special story to share with you. It’s about how and why we named our new workshop – PINKY PLACE. It started when we got a painter in to paint the walls of the workshop – on the back wall there was something written in black paint. It said ‘welcome to Pinky House, come one come all’. When the painter painted over the walls - even after three layers - he could not get rid of the writing. So it stayed there very faintly. What Martha hadn’t told anyone was that the building had originally been built so that one day when Emanuel was married he’d live in Martha’s house and she would live there. He had also painted the outside walls of both buildings a pink colour. He then painted those words on the walls for Martha. We were all touched when we heard this story and felt those words hadn’t disappeared for a reason. It was Emanuel’s way of telling us that he was part of heartfelt even in spirit & watching over us to make sure than his mum was ok. Coincidence, we think not - it's just a very special workshop indeed!
